Return/Refund Policy

Online Shopping Return Policy for Clothes:

Returns on items purchased through online shopping may be made only within 30 days of shipment for exchange, online shopping credit, or refund.  (No exceptions to the 30 days.)  Refunds are for merchandise only; shipping charges are not refundable and will be applied to any new items shipped. Refunds will be made 1-2 business days after returned merchandise is received.

Items that CAN NOT be returned:

  • Undergarments and tights, due to health reasons.
  • Special Order items not in catalogs or displayed on the website.
  • Closeout items.
  • Group Orders. 

Returned/exchanged merchandise must be:

  • In new, resalable condition, free of any damage or signs of wear.
  • With original packaging and tags still attached (shoe boxes must not be damaged, and all laces, ribbons, etc. must be in place).

Restocking Fee for Unauthorized Returns:

  • We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee plus shipping charges if items are refused at delivery or for unusual circumstances.

When shipping items, please:

  1. Include a copy of your invoice with your returned merchandise with clear instructions of what you’d like to do (exchange, online shopping credit, or refund).  Returns sent without documentation cannot be processed.
  2. Indicate the reason.
  3. Include a daytime phone number or cell phone number.

We are not responsible for the lost shipments and strongly suggest you insure your return shipment.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to process your return.  All reshipments are sent via Fed Ex Ground unless you specify another Fed Ex shipping method.

Safeguard Your Investment

If you need to exchange or return any shoes from your order, they MUST be returned in new condition with no marks and not soiled in any way.   They must be resalable

Shoes returned must be in original packaging! Shoe boxes must not be damaged, and all laces, ribbons, etc. must be in place. 

Ballet / Pointe Shoes

We recommend that you test them on the carpet or lay down a clean towel or other clean cloth before trying them on.  They soil easily and the satin on the pointe shoes can become scratched and dirty very easily. 

Tap Shoes / Character Shoes / Jazz Shoes & Sneakers

Do not tap around in the shoes until you have ensured a proper fit.  The taps will become scratched and therefore defective for resale.  We recommend testing them on the carpet.  Do not wear ANY shoes to class, outdoors, or on hard floor surfaces if you plan on making a return or exchange. 

Ballroom Shoes

We recommend that you test them on the carpet or lay down a clean towel or other clean cloth before trying them on.  They soil easily and the suede bottom can become scratched and dirty very easily. 

Note: We reserve the right to inspect any shoes returned to us for resalable before issuing a credit or exchange.
